HOW DO I CLEAN THE NEW STRAW VALVE?

Simply unscrew the lid then pop up the straw by pressing the trigger. Wash in warm soapy water, then rinse (or you can pop it on the top shelf of a dishwasher). We recommend letting everything fully dry before putting back in your cupboard.

HOW DO I REASSEMBLE MY STRAW CUP?

If the straw has been completely removed through the lid, you’ll need to remove the trigger. To do this, just push it to the left then the right - it will unclick on each side. Push the straw back up through both the lid and trigger, then click the trigger back into place.

WHY IS MY LOVELY CUP STAINED?

Tomatoes are usually to blame! If you wash your cup alongside pans or bowls that have had strong coloured sauces in, like tomato or carrot, some of the colour can transfer. This can happen in the sink as well as the dishwasher. To keep your cups looking lovely and new, put them at the front of the queue if you’re washing up by hand, and on the top shelf if you’re using a dishwasher. This usually results in fewer undesirable stains!

CAN I PUT MY CUP OR BOTTLE IN THE MICROWAVE?

In an ideal world, you’d warm your little one’s drink over a stove, stirring to ensure consistent heat throughout, then you’d pour it into their cup. In the real world, if your little one wants a warm drink, you’re probably going to pour the milk or juice into their cup and pop it in the microwave. The good news is that this will not damage our cups (apart from the insulated cups - they don’t get on well with microwaves). The bad news is that microwaves can cause random hot spots, and these are not nice for little ones to swallow. So, if you do use the microwave, please leave the lid off to warm, then pop it on and give the cup a really good shake or swirl before handing it over.

MY LITTLE ONE IS SUCKING, BUT NOT GETTING ANYTHING!

Sorry about that - must be pretty frustrating. To make things right, take a look at how the cup is assembled - the straw probably isn’t in quite right. Follow these steps to make things right:
1. Unscrew the lid from your cup and push the valve until it locks into the lid.
2. Remove the trigger from the lid by pushing to the left then the right.
3. Push the straw back up through the lid and trigger, then replace both.
4. Ensure you pull the straw from the top until the valve seals into position.
5. Replace the lid and try again - it should all be flowing smoothly!

ARE THE STRAW CUPS AND BEAKERS DISHWASHER SAFE?

We're pleased to advise that our Straw cups are all dishwasher safe. The only factor to take into consideration is that they should only be placed on the top shelf.
